Conflict Mineral Policy
Tecmark supports all efforts to end the human suffering and environmental impact that has been associated with mining in the Democratic Republic of Congo and adjoining countries. Tecmark is committed to meeting all legislative and regulatory requirements that seek to eradicate this suffering. Tracing the origin and chain of custody of minerals throughout a global supply chain is a complex process. This can only be accomplished with the cooperation and support of a vast number of industries and public and private stakeholders. Tecmark continues to work aggressively with its suppliers, industry groups, and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and systems to reduce the risk that minerals in our supply chain come from mines that finance or benefit armed groups in the DRC region. To this end, Tecmark expects its suppliers and their suppliers to acquire minerals only from responsible sources. Tecmark / LectricAir® Corp. is not and SEC registrant however Tecmark / LectricAir® support SEC registrant companies in their effort to comply with the SEC and the requirements under Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
Following is being required for Publicly Traded companies and their supply chain by the US government:
- Implement a Conflict Minerals policy in accordance with applicable SEC rules.
- Collect appropriate information to complete Conflict Minerals survey.
- Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) form is used to survey suppliers. Provide timely updates to Customer(s) when requested to do so.
